Based upon the children's Nursery Rhyme of the same name.

“Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater” is one of those nursery rhymes that seem innocent and nonsensical at first glance, but if you take a closer look, you’ll discover that it has a gruesome hidden message. This nursery rhyme talks about relationships, infidelity, and murder.
The wife that "couldn't be kept" in this rhyme didn't keep running away or anything - rather, she was supposedly a prostitute. Historians believe that Peter the pumpkin-eater tired of his wife's extra-curricular activities, then murdered her and hid her body in a pumpkin.

Taking that macabre premise is what I used as the foundation to my spooky swing version.
Made with the Halloween season in mind, but really where I'm from...
EVERYDAY IS HALLOWEEN!

My initial plan was/is to make an entire album of twisted children's songs based upon lullabies and nursery rhymes geared for HALLOWEEN.
